MORTAL KOMBAT X FOR ANDROID DEVICES

The X-Ray shots and colorful fatalities of Mortal Kombat X are now available on Android through the Google Play Store, about a month after launching in iOS.

Mortal Kombat X for Android requires 1.5 GB of storage space and at least 1 GB of RAM.

The mobile version of NetherRealm's gory fighting game features many of the elements of the PC and console versions of the title, although scaled down for mobile and fitted with gesture controls.

"Bring the power of next-gen gaming to your mobile and tablet device with this visually groundbreaking fighting and card collection game," mentioned the game's description. "Assemble an elite team of Mortal Kombat warriors and prove yourself in the greatest fighting tournament on Earth."

Players will work their way up a series of challenge towers, choosing tag team squads of three to take on groups along the way to the top. users can also take their tag teams online to battle other players' teams in the Faction Wars.

Similar to Nether Realm's mobile version of Injustice: Gods Among Us, the mobile version of MORTAL KOMBAT X uses a card system. Players can unlock items to use in matches, such as a poison knife, or add new versions of iconic fighters.

"Play the game and unlock exclusive rewards for the console version of MORTAL KOMBAT X, including ultra rare characters like Klassic  Kitana and Injustice Scorpion," stated the Play store description. "Playing the console version unlocks rewards in mobile as well."

MORTAL  KOMBAT  X for mobile is a free-to-play game, so there are micro transactions throughout. The game's "mature" rating should keep young minors from playing the game and siphoning cash out of their parents' checking and credit accounts with the in-app purchases.

Those in-app purchases can turn out to be pretty costly. To unlock all of the game's characters, including exotic variants of Kombatant such as Stunt Double Johnny Cage, it would cost about $300, by Pocket gamer's estimates.

To purchase the base versions of each character, players will have to spend about $70. That's $10 more than the console version of the game, although even the core version of the game requires a season pass to unlock all of its Kombatant..
